Which was impressive, and also rather worrying, given who he was talking to.Īs such, we had no idea where to even start looking for him. The only impression of him we had wasn’t exactly formal… There was little to no information about him we had on our person.
It seemed that all Arx had done was assemble the bomb and attempt to use it. Whoever this person was, he was the person who really designed the Radiation Bomb. (Well, OK, there’s actually another NPC later on in particular chapter of the campaign who was objectively worse, but I will only tell you who it is when the full extent of his depravity is revealed) Even the DM made sure he also hated him by gas-lighting himself) One was an individual that we only knew as Lazer (REMEMBER THIS NAME AS THIS BASTARD WOULD GO ON TO BE ONE OF THE MOST HATED NPCs WE’D EVER HAVE THE MISFORTUNE TO ENCOUNTER IN THIS CAMPAIGN. There were two figures who had helped Arx bring his plans to fruition… You see, the pirates had effectively been disbanded, there were still some unanswered questions surrounding the Captain Arx incident. Things were looking up for us, but not everything was OK… You could compare its design to steamships made in our time, like the RMS Titanic, but smaller and less likely to hit an iceberg. Meanwhile Ilmarith and Aska, as they’d said they would, stayed behind in Marina tending to their own business now that the pirates were a non-entity.Īnd then there was the simple fact that we were absolutely loaded, thanks to the reward given to us by King Kasper and, of course, having our very own steam powered frigate.
Two of our former enemies, Primo and Thrarn, have been integrated into our crew Primo as the Chief Gunnery Officer and Thrarn as the Chief Intelligence Officer.
In the meantime, we were getting used to the ship. It had been a month since the Redtide Pirates had been violently disbanded by the roving band of lunatics that is our party. YES, I’m here and am now writing the new series of the Memoria Saga! We are now heading to a different country in the setting, where our story now picks up again…
